Foundation
The ACEC Indiana Education and Workforce Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established to support and promote engineering education and careers in Indiana. The Foundation promotes early awareness and exploration of engineering careers to inspire future generations of engineers while also promoting workforce growth and retention in the industry. The Foundation supports and provides strategic guidance to ACEC Indiana in achieving workforce development goals.
Goals & Objectives
Utilizing the combined resources of ACEC Indiana members and industry partners, the Foundation’s goal is to leverage impactful fundraising to:
- Promote STEM and engineering careers to attract and retain talent in Indiana.
- Raise awareness of consulting engineering as a rewarding career path.
- Connect students with engineers through hands-on experiences.
- Partner with K-12 schools and organizations to build STEM interest and confidence among youth.
- Provide collegiate scholarships to Hoosier students in engineering and related programs.
- Support education-focused charitable initiatives that advance engineering careers.
- Strengthen fundraising and long-term sustainability through member and industry collaboration.
