Foundation Events

Big Dreams, Bright Futures: Engineering Discovery Day is an opportunity to explore civil engineering and related careers that shape today’s most groundbreaking achievements in the infrastructure industry. Students will experience hands-on activities and demonstrations with civil engineers working in the field representing a variety of disciplines:

• Transportation Engineering (designing roads, monitoring traffic)
• Structural Engineering (building bridges and buildings)
• Water and Environmental Engineering (ensuring clean water, protecting the environment)
• Geotechnical Engineering (site development, Earthworks)
• ...and so much more!

This FREE event welcomes students in public or private schools or homeschool. The ACEC Indiana Education and Workforce Foundation will provide snacks and water for participants, but packed lunches are encouraged if attending near the lunch hour.
