ACEC Indiana Scholarship
Each year, ACEC Indiana extends scholarships to talented Hoosier college students who uphold the value of engineering for a better quality of life in Indiana. Recognizing the importance of attracting talented graduates, the scholarship program aims to support students who plan to work in the consulting engineering industry in Indiana after graduation.
To receive an ACEC Indiana Scholarship, applicants must meet all qualifying criteria, including:
- Be an Indiana resident
- Enrolled as a full-time student entering at least their junior year
- Attending an ABET-accredited college in Indiana
- Be in good academic standing at 2.5 GPA or higher
- Pursing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an eligible program: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Surveying
- Prior industry experience (internship) with a consulting firm is highly encouraged
We are pleased to partner with the ACEC Research Institute to streamline the application process. Applicants will automatically be considered for ACEC Indiana Scholarships and as well as ACEC national scholarships with one application and have the option to apply for additional scholarships in their customized dashboard.
- Scholarships vary by recipient (no less than $1,500) with multiple recipients each year. Scholarships checks are written directly to recipients for their discretionary use.
- Students are eligible to receive (1) ACEC Indiana Scholarship and (1) ACEC National Scholarship during their academic career.
- The application for the 2026-2027 academic year will open October 1, 2025.
ACEC Indiana Scholarship Fund & Golf Outing
ACEC Indiana has distributed over $407,000 since 1999 and will continue to invest in Hoosier students through the ACEC Indiana Education & Workforce Foundation. ACEC Indiana members and other donors can contribute to the Scholarship fund as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
