Location and Webinar Call-in Information to Come.
ACEC Indiana estimates its 107 member firms expect to hire 500 new employees in the next year, based on their 2019 survey. Employment needs are expected to increase as senior workforce retires and Indiana funding sources continue to grow.
Recognizing these needs, ACEC is introducing a new opportunity for member firms. In partnership with TMap - an Indianapolis-based technology company formed to recruit talent to the state of Indiana - ACEC will use technology and state-of-the-art consumer marketing to find, engage and place top talent from outside Indiana with member firms.
FILLING THE WORKFORCE GAP TOGETHER
ACEC Indiana is well-suited to spearhead this effort. The association is known as the voice of the industry and Workforce Development is a critical business issue for each member firm. Our research indicates this is an industry-wide problem, requiring an industry-wide solution.
The Initiative will work as a subscription system, described in the FAQ site. Member firms will have access to new candidates for their job openings, matched together by TMap based on candidate and firm profiles. Once matched, candidates will interview with your firm.
ACEC Indiana is invested in the Initiative, both in resources and money. With this investment, ACEC Indiana is the first state ACEC Member Organization in the country with a dedicated workforce development approach, bringing the association in line with other Indiana industry associations like ICI, ICR and Conexus.
Your participation in this program is an investment, too. You will find new candidates to grow your business and our industry, and also ACEC will use the proceeds to fund an ACEC staff person dedicated to workforce development and to making strides on long-term solution for the workforce gap.
If your firm is interested, sign up to attend a special in-person and webinar opportunity on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. ET.
